A serial-killer thriller that thinks it’s the new Seven (it isn’t). Instead we get some moody guff about reporter Louis (Cuba Gooding Jr) tangling with Neal McDonough’s clever, creepy murderer while doing all the things clichéd characters in thrillers usually do, such as neglecting to go to the police from the start.
