Leave it to ‘Mockbuster’ champs Asylum – the same production company that gave us Snakes On A Train and Sunday School Musical – to hijack James Cameron’s epic and turn it into a CGI-ridden, cheapo disaster flick.
Utilising the moored Queen Mary as the new ‘Titanic 2’ – complete with rusty railings – the hapless crew and passengers (including director Shane Van Dyke and character actor Bruce Davison) find themselves suffering a similar fate as their namesake when a tsunami whips an iceberg straight into their path.
Hilariously inept mayhem ensues.
