Like I’m A Celebrity... to fallen stars, San Hilario is a place people visit at the end of their days. But when petty criminal Germán (Lluis Homar) is mistaken for the famed funeral town’s latest customer, the lives of San Hilario’s inhabitants are turned upside-down... in all the ways you’d expect of a life-affirming, fish-out-of-water comedy-drama. Reflecting its setting, director Laura Mana’s latest offering is slow and sleepy, while the magnificent Homar does his best to breathe life into the familiar set-up.
