Tommy Trinder Collection

Originally a stand-up comedian, Trinder became a Brit-cinema star for Ealing Studios during World War Two. Throughout the seven features here, his comic persona remains intact: the fast-talking, working-class cheeky chappie; a symbol of good-humoured British defiance and fortitude. Included are two of Trinder’s most famous outings: Champagne Charlie and The Bells Go Down. Cursory extras.
