Spunky meteorologist divorcees Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton race around America hunting tornados with each one proving bigger, louder and more expensive than the last.

Production notes, cast and film-makers bios and theatrical trailer.Director Jan De Bont makes the most of state-of-the-art CG trickery for this explosive effects bonanza, in which the cast always play second fiddle to the technology. Still, it's one hell of a ride and, as such, a perfect film for DVD. The disc may be lacking in the extras department, but with a razor-sharp picture and excellent THX sound system, Twister makes for a sofa-rattling experience. Definitely one for the biggest telly and best sound system you can find.
