‘91,000 people. 33 exit gates. One sniper.’ A snappy tagline suggests a suspense-heavy actioner; what we get is a bizarre, uneasy mix of serial-killer thriller (Halloween-style POV shots, bloody deaths, grizzled police chief in pursuit) and ’70s disaster movie (ludicrous script, a cast of walking clichés) set in a heaving football stadium. Despite some well-staged stampede scenes and a refreshingly motiveless gunman, the result is overlong and, well, naff. After all, you can hardly take seriously an obvious gun-culture critique headlined by future NRA president Chuck Heston… No extras.
