While the concept is great – a bloodthirsty vamp is captured and handed over to the cruel, experimental hand of science (who’s the monster now?) – this cringe-worthy offering feels like it’s been filmed on a mobile phone. Stiffly acted and lacking atmosphere, this is one time you’ll wish for a Hollywood remake.
