Director Louis Malle casts both sex kittens in this Mexico-set screwball western in which anarchist bomb-throwing bombshell Bardot hides out in a travelling circus and befriends Moreau’s singer.
The gals turn men into drooling idiots before breaking out the Gatling guns to join the revolution.
Malle’s frippery is a little too self indulgent but he aces the underexplored female buddy movie.
