Veteran director Claude Lelouch’s latest is a tribute to the movies, set in a Parisian picturehouse during WWII , à la Inglourious Basterds. Lelouch marries conflict clichés with unpredictable interludes: a musical number here, a western set-piece there. Alas, these isolated incidents flounder under a soft-headed story about a woman (Audrey Dana) driven to Nazi collaboration and GI threesomes because she “loves too much.” Something of everything but not enough of anything.
