Plot:
Chris Kelvin (George Clooney), a psychologist receives a call for help from his friend (Ulrich Tukur) who is stationed in deep space on a station orbiting the mysterious planet Solaris.
When Kelvin arrives he finds the station nearly deserted and the remaining crew members are haunted by a mysterious presence, but refuse to speak in detail about the nature of the terror.
That night, Kelvin dreams of his wife (Natascha McElhone), who has been dead for seven years. When Kelvin awakens in the morning, she is lying next to him in bed.
