Silence Of The Lambs director Jonathan Demme's 1984 film of Talking Heads in performance, now re-released, is one of the best performance movies ever made - - right up there with Scorsese's The Last Waltz. The skill of Demme's approach lies in its simplicity: while ensuring plenty of coverage, he leaves the artistry to the extraordinary David Byrne and his band.
