An ultra-low-budget cash-in on the 'hood movies of the early '90s, Straight Outta Compton is meant to be a blistering social commentary on Compton's drug-dealing, rap-shouting, gun-toting boyz. Only no one seems to have told the director that, local lad Ryan Combs turning in an unintentionally hilarious homey movie full of amateur actors. So bad it's a menace to society.
