
So here it is then. Arriving on a cosmic milkfloat of anti-hype, two years past its release-by date and having slipped through the stumps of three directors, Supernova was always going to attract the unwanted attentions of those who get their kicks from cinematic car wrecks. With MGM trying to salvage it for $70 million, and talents Francis Ford Coppola, Walter Hill and Geoffrey Wright all attempting to resuscitation the movie, you might at least think it'd be a curio. But, really, this is indigestible tripe by anybody's standards.
