Taken 2 review

Film description

"I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you."

It's the words that reinvented Liam Neeson's career into that of an action hero and now he's reprising his role as Bryan Mills in Taken 2, the sequel to the now cult film Taken.

Taken 2 will see Mills's wife kidnapped in Instanbul by the father of the terriosts he killed in the first film, and he enlist the help of his daughter before hunting down his kidnappers one by one.

Although considering he's now played God in two different religions,  (Zeus and Jesus) has trained Obi Wan, Darth Vader and Batman, punches wolves AND killed your son and dozens of your men in the previous film, you'd probably think to leave Neeson alone. No? Just us then...

With Lockout's Maggie Grace and X-Men's Famke Janssen reprising their roles as Liam Neeson's daughter and wife respectively, and Leon's Luc Besson back on writing duties with Transporter 3''s Olivier Megaton on directing duties, everything seems in place to deliver another film that will be quoted in University halls and left as answer machines messages across the world.

What do you think of Taken 2? Do you think Paramount can bottle lightning twice and deliver another blistering action film. Check out the official trailer and sound off in the comments below.
