Scream scribe Kevin Williamson's directorial debut was originally titled Killing Mrs Tingle, but was quickly remonikered after the Columbine massacre. The premise remains deliciously dark though, as Grade-A pupil Leigh Ann Watson (Katie Holmes) clashes with nasty teacher Mrs Tingle (Helen Mirren), who threatens to thwart her scholarship dreams. What better way to delete her from the equation than murder?
