
Pretty Woman meets Leaving Las Vegas in Wayne Wang's DV drama, which sees Peter Sarsgaard's dot-commer paying Molly Parker's stripper to spend three nights with him in a Vegas hotel room. Parker imposes a few conditions (no snogging, only four hours of hanky-panky a night), but things become complicated once she falls for her meal ticket. There's ample nudity, but the result is oddly unarousing. As Eyes Wide Shut proved, porn and pretension make poor bedfellows.
