Perhaps a little less of an event given their relatively poor recent form, but this quartet of Blood Simple, The Big Lebowski, The Hudsucker Proxy and Barton Fink (the latter pair on Region Two DVD for the first time) nonetheless sees Joel and Ethan at their best: dark, witty and wickedly inventive.
