Eco-terrorism drama The East is chock-full of rising stars.
Zal Batmanglij and Brit Marling revisit the creative partnership that made Sound Of My Voice a critical smash, once again collaborating on the screen play and taking the roles of director and lead respectively.
Marling plays a private intelligence operative sent to infiltrate an anarchist, anti-corporate collective, only to fall for the group's leader, played by another young Hollywood hotlister, Alexander Skarsgård.
This is sure to be a whip-smart drama that leaves us with something to think about.
The East will premiere at Sundance 2013. The UK release is yet to be announced.
Will Marling and Skarsgård prove the perfect screen pairing? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.
