The Necessary Death Of Charlie Countryman is a comedic action-romance starring Shia LaBeouf.

He plays Charlie, a bumbling average joe who falls in love on his travels with the irresistible Gabi (Evan Rachel Davis). But where does the action come in, I here you ask. Well, it turns out she's in too deep with a mob boss and the only way for Charlie to win her heart and keep her from harms way is going toe-to-toe with the brass knuckle-wearing thugs.

Directed by Fredrik Bond and co-starring Mads Mikkelsen, Aubrey Plaza and Rupert Grint (who we sincerely hope is playing a mafioso),  this is sure to be a rip-roaring ride.

The Necessary Death Of Charlie Countryman will premiere at Sundance 2013. Its UK release date is still to be announced.
