After about an hour you’ll begin to believe that this epic fantasy will, indeed, never end. Thirtysomethings that grew up with it will be nostalgically entranced, but today’s CGI-weaned kids will flag in the face of its snail’s pace, blank, emotionless tone and appalling synth soundtrack.
