
“Is justice really necessary if no-one demands it?” That’s the million-peso question at the heart of Spanish writer/ director Jorge Sanchez-Cabezudo’s knotty morality thriller. Sliced into six overlapping chapters, its intricate plot is motored by an appalling woodland rape. The tension snowballs with an act of misplaced vengeance that in turn sparks a sweaty cover-up.
