This movie seems like it'll be Die Hard, but Die Hard if the police were the ones doing the heroics instead of a lone New York police officer. A tower makes for a tense place for gun battles and gives potential for some great action sequences and camera work. If executed correctly, this could be the action movie that revives action movies from the recent slump they've been in. Hopefully it does not end up a complete mess like Smokin' Aces.

My goodness, who would have thought that an Indonesian action film written, edited and directed by Welshman Gareth Evan would end up being one of the most extraordinarily relentless and kinetic action film I've ever seen? It grabs you by the throat and never lets go. In fact one fight scene left the audience gasping in collective relief when it was over so intense was it. As a result it's frankly exhausting. I was worried that the trailer has shown us everything but I was wrong. See it before Hollywood remakes it and guts it of its power.

It has been a while since there has been an action movie that was truly exciting. This film seems like it truly has the potential to bring back the golden age of action movies. This movie seems like Die Hard if the police outside the office building were the heroes of the story. It seems to have the same claustrophobic tense feel that Die Hard had as well.
