The Transformers: The Movie (2007)

When a colossal, all-munching roboplanet named Unicron (voiced by Orson Welles, trivia tools) lurches onto the scene, the goodie Autobots must find a way to kick it to bits while swatting off their arch-foes the Decepticons… Cue 84 minutes of near-constant blasting, during which the ‘Battling Seizure Robots’ episode of The Simpsons starts to feel worryingly plausible. Still, we’re not here for writhing plots or layered characters. We’re here for shockingly-dated, shoddy 1986 animation, celeb cameos (Leonard Nimoy as Galvatron, anyone?) and an extras list longer than Megatron’s user-maintenance manual.
