The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 marks the end of a franchise which has had a considerable impact on cinema since 2008, for better or worse.

In this second movie of the final instalment, Bella should at last get the chance to shine (quite literally), as she enjoys life as a newly bitten vampire. And the family Cullen face their final showdown against the Volturi while attempting to protect Renesmee, the rapidly aging daughter of Bella and Edward.

Then there's the icky matter of Jacob 'imprinting' on young Renesmee, which'll be a difficult plot point to navigate without guffaws.

Aware that Breaking Dawn 2 has a readymade fanbase, the marketing push hasn't strayed beyond the traditional. There was a bunch of teaser posters (smouldering), and a teaser trailer, before the full trailer arrived. And Renesmee first greeted the world by hiding shyly behind her parents.
