Anyone with even a fleeting interest in US cinema should see this entertaining and illuminating doc by Kirby Dick, which scrutinises the secretive workings of the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA). This organisation has the authority to classify every film, yet the decisions of its anonymous employees (who have to be parents) aren’t subject to any public accountability and invariably favour corporate interests.
