Jason Statham’s Frank Martin is forced to transport a waifish hostage by way of an explosive bracelet set to blow if he strays too far from his motor.
It’s a great Speed-meets-Battle Royale-meets-Crank set-up: shame the filmmakers fluff it.
The Stat still packs a punch, but a laboured romance with his irritating passenger, sparse set-pieces and a dour colour palette will leave you dullified, wondering where the fun went. Extras unavailable.
