Tron2

Like the somewhat deflating experience of revisiting an ancient videogame, settling down in front of Disney's 1982 live-action/CGI fantasy is more rewarding in the glow of nostalgic anticipation than reality. Sucked into the memory of a malevolent supercomputer, hacker Flynn (Jeff Bridges) must help his virtual pals Tron (Bruce Boxleitner) and Yori (Cindy Morgan) create a "free system" by smashing the Master Control Program with, er, neon frisbees. The visuals were groundbreaking and the famous light-cycle sequence is undeniably cool, but the years haven't been kind to the tech-talk script or offensive synth-mongous soundtrack.
