Al Pacino enjoyed working on Glengarry Glen Ross so much that he agreed to star in this as a favour to Ross' director James Foley. That's your excuse, eh, Al? He plays a crotchety grandpa in Depression-era Philadelphia, promising his last quarter to grandson Jerry Barone, who wants to buy a ticket for the new movie theatre. So mawkishly nostalgic that they could turn it into an episode of Heartbeat.
