Stone's favourite themes - loyalty, honour, the relationship of men and their fathers or father figures - are scrawled across a blocky and unsubtle film that nevertheless crackles with raw power. Michael Douglas' Oscar-winning Gordon Gekko stands out, but this is far from a one-trick movie.
