This homecoming story depicts the return of youngest son Tom (Tom Hardy) to his alcoholic father Paddy (Nick Nolte) - a former boxer. After being trained by his father for a martial arts tournament, his new found trade sees him collide with older brother Brendan, played by Joel Edgerton.
